Synonym: Refueling couplings
Fuels are available in liquid and gaseous form or in viscous heavy fuel oil or highly volatile gas, such as hydrogen.
WALTHER-PRÄZISION offers customised coupling systems for these different media and recommends clean break technology to protect the environment and operators. Used in conjunction with non-destructive emergency disconnect devices from WALTHER-PRÄZISION, the safety of a system can be significantly increased.
Fuel couplings are generally mono-couplings that enable the quick and safe coupling of a media line. Depending on the design, the coupling systems are suitable for various liquid and gaseous fuels and areas of application. Splash-free clean break couplings, which have been developed especially for the chemical industry or heavy industry and can withstand different operating pressures, also fulfil the highest safety standards when connecting and disconnecting fuel lines and ensure optimum handling. For example, specially developed refueling systems are ideal for refueling motor vehicles with gaseous hydrogen. Non-destructive and therefore immediately reusable breakaway couplings for liquid and gaseous fuels prevent accidents and therefore offer optimum protection for people and the environment.
